they are actually darker than shown in the picture (not just a Royal Blue). also, I think it should be specified that these are socks of baseball (I may have missed something). I bought them for my son to wear for basketball. No one will know you really are socks, baseball would help me know they will be really long. they run really snug so be prepared to buy a size if it is a growing foot.
